Qey,
We recognize the beautiful and diverse Indigenous population in Menahqesk (Saint John). We also recognize that we are underserved and disconnected from our communities. The Saint John Indigenous Health Advisory Circle (SJIHAC), with the gracious help of our partners the Wabanaki Council on Disability, Mawita'mk, Sophia Recovery House and the Port of Saint John, would like to bring the community together while increasing our accessibility to health services.
Please join us on April 11th, 2023 for a traditional meal (free of charge) and meet other Indigenous people in the Saint John area.
WHAT: Community Feast: a traditional Indigenous meal catered by Jenna's Nut Free Dessertery (Indigenous owned business).
