Join us for lunch at Peel Plaza by the Saint John Arts Centre on August 22nd between 11 and 2. All funds will support women with record suspension expenses.

A record suspension can lift a woman from a life of dependency on social assistance into the work place, pursue higher education, access student placement opportunities, provide for their families, participate in volunteer activities, integrate fully into their communities and increase their sense of self-worth.

The cost for applying for a record suspension is $631., a base fee. Additional mandatory costs include fingerprinting, obtaining record checks, court information sheets, local police checks, government issued identification, and postage which bring costs up to $850 or more.

There are no sources of external funding to support prospective applicants.
