Join KPH on Saturday, January 25th at 10:30AM at the Kingston Parish Hall for a presentation by celebrated local photographer Freeman Patterson.
Namaqualand, a region in the northwest corner of South Africa, is one of few places on earth that experience an annual SUPERBLOOM. Over 4000 species of flower bloom in a 6 to 8 week period in August and September. Freeman has visited Namaqualand 46 times in 53 years. He will share some of his slides and talk with us about the flora and ecology of this enchanted place.
